Google Summer of Code 2013

Code for this project is being maintained in the GSoc2013 branch and more over in [issue20-GMv2] (https://github.com/CUTR-at-USF/OpenTripPlanner-for-Android/tree/issue20-GMv2) where is all the work after the migration to Google Maps API V2 has started. As the coding work is already finished these two branches have been merged to master and are included in the released app on the Play Store.

More important achievements of this work have been:

Updated the UI with a more "modern" and functional design, following latest Android patterns.
Moved to "Google Play Services", with this addition the map is much more interactive and visually appealing. Also code is more clean and simple with many things directly managed by the library and a lot of powerful features very easy to add.
Moved to new Location API also manage by "Play Services" which is more accurate, friendly and less battery consuming.
Addressed numerous issues and bugs that made the use of the app uncomfortable. Many parts of the app have been rewritten.
Added "date & time" support. Now the requests can be adjusted with this parameter and time information of the retrieved trip is shown in all components of the app.
Added bike parameters support. Now the app takes profit of one of the major points of OTP in comparison with other alternatives.
