Setup Instructions

  1. Install Dependencies

    pip install -r requirements.txt

    Note: This will install:

    • Flask 3.0.0
    • pyOpenSSL 23.3.0
    • cryptography 41.0.7
    • werkzeug 3.0.1
    • black 23.12.1
    • pytest 7.4.3
    • numpy 1.26.2
    • psutil 5.9.6
  2. Generate SSL Certificate

    python generate_cert.py
  3. Configure Settings

    • Open config.py
    • Change the default username and password
    • Save the file
  4. Run the Application

    python app.py

Accessing the Application

  1. Open your web browser
  2. Go to https://127.0.0.1:5000
  3. You'll see a security warning (normal for self-signed certificates)
  4. Click "Advanced" then "Proceed anyway"
  5. Log in with your credentials

Important Notes

  1. First Time Setup: Make sure to complete all installation steps before running
  2. Security: Change the default password in config.py
  3. SSL Certificate: The self-signed certificate warning is normal for local development
  4. Backup: Regularly backup your custom components and configurations
