This is an e-commerce backend written in Golang using the Gin framework. The backend provides various APIs to manage products, orders, and customers for an e-commerce application.
- Clone the repository:
git clone <repository-url>

Install Golang (if not already installed) from the official Golang website: https://golang.org/

Install project dependencies:
go mod download

Configure the environment variables:
- Create a
.env
file in the project root directory. - Add the following environment variables to the
.env
file:
MONGODB_DATABASE_NAME= MONGODB_TRASH_DATABASE_NAME= MONGODB_URI=

Run the application:
go run main.go
The application will start running on port 8000 if not specified in the PORT
environment variable.

Fetches all products.

Fetches a single product by ID.

Creates a new product.

Updates a product by ID.

Deletes a product by ID.

This backend uses a MongoDB database. To configure the database connection, set the MONGODB_URI
environment variable in the .env
file with the URL of your MongoDB database.
