The most interesting thing in this one (after quite a long time) is the support for Java 8 and with that, Minecraft 1.8.9.
Yes, you heard that right, there now is a Axolotlclient version for 1.8.9!

1.8.9

  • Already has support for Zooming (C)
  • Support for custom skies, no matter which format (FSB & MCP/OF)
  • custom config screen
  • still nowhere near finished (Coming probably soon: various HUD elements & modules)

Other Changes:

  • Update to 1.18.2 (and a lot lot of mods)
  • you will sometimes find a new background
  • minor new layout in the launcher
