Reporting an Issue

If you have an issue with delivery or payment, please contact product@piso.support instead of following the steps below.

While we have prioritized stability when developing the pISO, it is still possible you will encounter an issue. If your pISO stops responding or displays a message like "An error occurred", please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue:

  1. Remove your SD card from your Raspberry Pi and plug it in to your computer
  2. If you saw the "An error occurred" message, then you should have a file called "piso_debug.tar" on your SD card. If so, copy it to your desktop. Otherwise, create a file on your SD card called 'piso_debug_log' on the SD card. Then, if possible, reproduce the problem. Now a log file named 'piso.log' should exist on the SD card. Copy this log file to your desktop.
  3. If you have a 'Github' account please create an issue as follows
    1. Create a new issue by visiting this link and clicking 'New Issue'
    2. Fill out what you were doing when you encountered the error and attach the file from step 2.
  4. Otherwise, please send an email to product@piso.support with the file from step 2 attached and a description of what you were doing when the issue occurred.

We should respond promptly to help diagnose the issue.
