@FernandoMiguel also a question, would you be interested in donating the project to one of the forks to ensure continued maintenance? It'd also remove splintering the community and enable use to update packagers, like brew

No worries, if anyone pops up with other forks I'm happy to add this now, but otherwise we could merge this and add others later?

@FernandoMiguel are you happy merging this to make it clear where people can find a maintained fork?

AWS Vault is a tool to securely store and access AWS credentials in a development environment.

AWS Vault stores IAM credentials in your operating system's secure keystore and then generates temporary credentials from those to expose to your shell and applications. It's designed to be complementary to the AWS CLI tools, and is aware of your [profiles and configuration in `~/.aws/config`](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/cli-chap-getting-started.html#cli-config-files).
