Is it possible to connect to an existing Zwave-js-ui instance ?

I already have an existing zwave-js-ui installation that I'm very happy with, but I'm using node-red for all automations, is it possible to connect this to the existing zwave-js ?

I am afraid this module and UI are both entirely different beasts.
