when I select the entire line and copy it into the "find" or "replace" window the start and end of line characters are added, is it possible to avoid this?

Yes of course, I was wondering if there is an option to disable this behavior, I come from notepad2 mod and there was no this behavior

This due to the selected or pasted content contains special characters (leading tab \t and trailing line endings \r, \n) that won't rendered correctly in the edit box (invisible):
