With the limited information I have until I have the repo or minimal example repo to reproduce, it can possibly be a gas related issue if one transaction succeeds and the other reverts. Have you tried providing higher gas limit and seeing if it then succeeds? |

the offchain system is a bit complex so will think abt how best to get you to repro but what I was thinking is if this was a gas issue then shouldnt the whole gas limit have been used up and also the failing and passing txs use about the same gas |

Yes please provide a repro whenever you get a chance 🙏 . It will make the debugging process much easier / effective. True that the gas limit used should be near 100% if gas related, however the difference between the failing / passing txs could be the change in l1 gas price (e.g. 8 days ago vs today). Nonetheless, it would be best to debug with a reproduction to determine the root cause. I'd still look to increase gas limit as a sanity check. |
