Edit prediction consistently predicts too much

I’m consistently finding that edit prediction predicts way too far ahead to the point where it’s not convenient to use at all. I would much rather approve 10 small suggestions adding at most a couple of lines than one big one that defines 20 methods.

I wonder if it might be possible to configure this?

Here’s a recent example. The first three lines (the definition of thead) is actually useful to me. Everything beyond that is extra work to clean up if I were to accept the prediction.
