Show some love for the documents, which are not part of any project, please!

Hello!

IMHO, currently Zed development is too project-centric. Of course, I understand the importance of projects in the development process. But there are many occasions where user just need to quick-edit a single document, which is not part of any project: say, shell-script, random html-file or some config or code-snippet.

What am I missing?

1. There is no way to close the currently open project: no such a command or menu item. #23876
2. There is no way to open a non-project file using command or menu item on Linux and Windows. #23707
3. Non-project files are not restored after Zed restart. #15098
4. There is no "Recent files" list in the menu bar. #9850
5. Currently it is impossible to search across all open files. #21549
6. There is no way to create an unnamed scratch buffer with persistent content. #24231

Any other ideas? Thoughts?
