If I can get Lizard compiling with https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun_STHS34PF80_Arduino_Library/tree/main/src would you consider helping me add the interaction with the estop system?

You can create your own Lizard module. By copying the style of the other modules and adding your module to module.h & module.cpp together with a call for creating it, you can create your own module within Lizard.

As a reference, you can look at #161 I added two new modules to the system: The analog unit and the temperature sensor. When you are done, and it works properly, you could create a pull request for it.
