suggestion : profile-specific playlists #950

I thought I'd use the profile feature to maintain a playlist of to-be-watched streaming links (= of the type you remove or label as watched after watching), which I could then "share" relatively easily between machines (with symlinks or by copying) ... and quickly found out that profiles apparently only concern settings.

How difficult would it be to make the playlist manager take the Playlist.pls file from the current profile folder (if it exists), and possibly add an option to the copy profile function to include that file with the ones to be copied?

There may be other lists that could benefit from the same approach.

Alternatively, the reason I thought of this in the 1st place could also be achieved by supporting streaming links listed in a group that's synchronised to/with a directory, which isn't the case ATM as far as I can tell. That is, you currently have to export a group to a pls file which you can then copy into a synchronised-group-folder on another machine. That pls file will then show up as a group inside that supposedly shared group, but any changes you make to it will not be synchronised to the pls file in question.
Ideally one wouldn't have to remember to save the group in question to a pls file after each change...
