UNAVAILABLE: io exception error | GRPC Request with Client Certificate

Does this plugin "jmeter-grpc-request" support using Client Certificates while sending the GRPC Request ?

I tried configuring the the Keystore in "system.properties" with Client Certificate and corresponding private key however, get "UNAVAILABLE: io exception" error and get the following error in Load Balancer Logs:

Connection error: ssl_hs_rx_tls13_cert:3916: alert(46) no certificate
SSL Handshake failed for TCP xxxxxx

Please advise. Thanks.
