Thanks for Trilium, it's an outstanding tool for knowledge work! Did you ever consider implementing spaced repetition? It could be implemented by using specific "flashcard" notes, with a "review" note that will allow the user to go through them using the spaced repetition algorithm. Flashcard notes could have different parents in the tree, but also one (or more) review notes where the repetition will take place.
Mochi has a nice implementation, but there are other tools that integrate knowledge with spaced repetition directly (Remnote, Logseq) or using plugins (Obsidian).
