Licensing clarity #7
Description
It is confusing that both GPL COPYING file and the LGPL COPYING.LESSER files are both present.
The license statement mixes both as well
GNU Lesser General Public License Version 3 (GPLv3)

If this is LGPL then the GPL references should be removed for clarity. LGPL is a self-contained license.
