Help to install templates in the gallery

Hi,
I'm running v5.4.0-ext-v2 and i configured my docker environment similar to README.md example.
The service is running fine and I get no errors but I can't figure out how to install templates in the gallery.
I've downloaded some templates example from official overleaf and copy the file inside my container /var/lib/overleaf/data/template_files/ (testing both .zip and unzipped directory) and restarted overleaf service. Unfortunately the gallery is still empty.
I took a look to overleaf official doc but it didn't help me.
What's the best way to install templates in my self hosted overleaf?

Upload a project to Overleaf, and in the menu you will find an option to publish the project as a template.

You need to open the project from the zip file you downloaded from Overleaf. Then, in the project menu, you can publish it as a template in your gallery. Unfortunately, it's not possible to download a template directly from the Overleaf template gallery.
