I thing it would be great if we could have line number in this package. I would contribute if I could :)

Wow! Thanks for your PR. The line number is a bit complex. Because we need to calculate the text height and render the line number in the same line. Modifying the TextField widget to add virtual lines may be an idea. Hope we can discuss this :-).

It will not work if one line is long that needs to be scrolled horizontally. the line number will be scrolled too.
The new codes just add a line number for each Enter finds in the actual TextField. I checked for various TextField font sizes and it was fine.

But the text height may be different. Like a large fontSize or a long String value that will show in multi-line. Then the line height is higher and the next line number should be rendered under it.

About the fontSize I tested it and it will not change the height (I think it's because the main style of the Text.rich has the font height. idk) and about the long String, It will not break the line until you press the Enter (because of horizontal ScrollView
