based in Brooklyn (NYC). I am using yew to build a Lead Sheet Editor (for musicians).

What are you doing? What's your favorite thing about yew?

damn... sad sight... no replies? how does this repo have 31k stars it seems like a wasteland.

I want to buy rust saas boilerplate but I'm worried because it says it uses yew for frontend and it seems dead here...

Anyways, if i do buy it I will be building a SMB alternative to PowerBI on Azure for our small business clients that can't afford or don't care to afford Microsoft Fabric migrations.... really WISH they would update this repo though lol I'm holding onto this domino for now.

Curious how your project went? Much friction in Yew?

Unfortunately, sometimes I feel like giving up halfway because it really seems like there aren’t many active developers in the Rust ecosystem. Even for backend development, there doesn’t seem to be much going on. I doubt it will ever reach the level of Go or Python, especially since JavaScript frameworks like nextjs have completely taken over the frontend. But well, it’s just a hobby for me, so I’ll keep going.

idk I feel like it will pick up eventually. It might have a slow initial crowd but the tooling and stability is so good that by the time there is popularity, your software will still be functional and have the breadth that now needs depth.
