Hi, thanks for the detail and nice descriptive solution, works very well but I face one issue which is eating my three days. only root ('/') is working, I have added more routes but not working and prompting the 404 error.

i am also facing the same issue
When I try it on my PC, it succeeds, but fails on EC2.
AWS security group has 8000 port and 80 port set firmly...

I made a mistake when adding the proxy_pass.

in /etc/nginx/sites-available/default
try_files $uri $uri/ =404;
It was because I forgot to delete that part.

Also, after restarting, the setting file was reflected, but there may be other ways to reflect the setting file without restarting.
