WS2811 vs WS2812 - invert color red<>green

As stated in the forum https://forum.xod.io/t/problem-with-rexton-ws2811-string-lights/4478/3
when using a **WS2811** the red and green colors are reversed.


Is there any possibility to select the type of device, without adding a new library?
