Can't change the group name strange error

Getting this error when trying to change the group name

Think it may be because I don't have permissions in this group to do that? But still a strange error can we make that more clear?

yes, also happens when i try to change permissions and i'm not allowed. metadata isn't showing permissions correctly either. looks like they're admin only.
