Xmake built-in JSON

Is it possible to use import("core.base.json") and do some pretty printing when saving the JSON to a file? Currently, my output JSON file contains everything on one line.

Also, all my forward slashes are escaped: {"port":5551,"url":"http:\/\/localhost"}

local json_content = io.readfile(filepath)
local config = json.decode(json_content)
local modified_json = json.encode(config)
io.writefile(path.join(target:targetdir(), "config.json"), modified_json)
