How to use dynamic array to load images without re-rendering?

Hi, thank you for building this. I'm looking to add images to my array as I receive them from an API call. Is there a way to do this? Currently, when I rerender it knocks me out of fullscreen as well. Ideally, I would be able to stay in fullscreen and slide to the newest image when added. Looking for any suggestions. Thanks !
