- Is this device connected to another local integration, including Home Assistant and any other tools?
- The devices are within the same HA subnet, and they get discovered automatically when I add them
What happened?
I've seen this same issue posted before, just doesn't seem like it's been fixed yet. Basically, I add the mini split to the smart life app and the correct temperature is displayed. I import it into home assistant and use the local tuya integration and the temperature is completely wrong. Example: smart life app will display a temperature of 66 fahrenheit, and the local tuya integration will display the temperature at 151. If I change the units in the local tuya integration from fahrenheit to celcius, the proper values for fahrenheit are displayed on the della mini split. But then the mini split itself is showing celcius (example: 19).
Just seems like it's flipped. It seems like others have complained about this as well. I've tried the other protocols and they all show incorrectly.
Steps to reproduce.
- Add new device
- view temperatures
- flip between the units and note what the values were before/after the change and compare it to what the app says.
