SmartIR Integration "a la broadlink"

Hi guys !

I stumbled up this integration the other day:

It basically turns some specific devices into actual entities inside Home Assistant, that are usable as if they were true. It's especially interesting for Climate and "dumb" A/C, now that we have ir_send / ir_receive codes with LocaTuya that work just like Broadlink does.

The problem is I'm not smart enough to use it, and I feel like it would need an extra layer to have our tuya IR remote devices work with that integration's system.

But if it works for Broadlink, it should in theory work for tuya IRs no ?

Any chance someone is willing to point me in the right direction? @xZetsubou did you try to use that integration before and tinker with Tuya IRs since you implemented them?

I never used SmartIR Integration it seems interesting however with a little changes it possible to make localtuya recognize if the device sending is "SmartIR", do you have a device that supported in SmartIR repository?
