Connection to WTA-timeservice?

My clock is running accurately but when connecting to wi-fi it many times does not adjust to current time. The motor will turn very briefly and then begin running real time. On occasion, after wi-fi connection, it will run in "fast mode" to adjust to current time.
Does this sound like an error in my clock build or a problem connecting to the WTA-timeservice?

Without a log you can't say that exactly.
Usually, after receiving the WTA time, a quick run is carried out until the position reperenesnting the received time is reached. Since some additional time has passed until the target position has been reached, the quick run is continued until the current time position and then moves up every second.

Thanks for your reply. If it doesn't adjust automatically at start-up I set it manually and it accurately keeps time. It's been a fun project and I've learned a lot in the process. Here's my finished clock. THANKS again for your help!
