Are you using big impulse response files? Usually the convolver does not add such a high effective latency. With the small files I use it can't even be noticed by ear. But if the impulse file is too big things will be different. |

Oh, that's very interesting! Thank you. I am using 32-bit .wavs that are
300K, that must be why. Any suggestion on how to reduce the file size while
still keeping them effective?

I figured out why mine were so big. I didn't trim my recordings because I
wasn't sure how much of it was needed other than the main impulse, so they
were like 5 seconds long! I trimmed them to just a few ms before and after
the impulse and now they are 17k.

Hi all,
Really enjoying the increase in sound quality with this app in getting the speakers on my ROG G16 to sound like they do in Windows. However, I get a ~500ms audio delay with Easy Effects enabled (convolver only). Are there any ways to reduce this latency? Eager for any suggestions.
