Feature request: Knobs or Wheels or Sliders for Frequency, Quality, Width in the equalizer.

It would be nice to have an easier to use method to sweep the frequency & Q / Width options. Having them populate next to the dB slider while in "setup" would make their use easier. This is a carry-over from the analog parametric EQ world.

The issue may be space. We already have lack of it on screens that are not ultrawide.

This might work. It will still take a while until I start to work on the equalizer code in the Qt branch but this is something to consider there. I would not put effort test this in the gtk branch as it will be replaced by the Qt branch in the future.

I was looking at the eeqt branch, is this where the change to QT from Gtk is occurring? Are you open to adding "QwtWheel" to the Qt Widgets options? I'm willing to contribute a patch for this part of the EQ, if its already underway.

For some reasons in the Qt port I decided to follow the "QML + KDE/Kirigami" path. So a widget based on QtWidgets may not be viable or fit well to this design choice. Assuming that something similar can be done with QML we can test and see how it goes. But if possible I would like to avoid QML libraries that are not available on most distributions.

And I did not start to port the equalizer yet. It and the multiband plugins will probably be the last ones because they are by far the plugins with the largest amount of controls. I will probably try to get the easier ones done first.
