How do you import custom GraphicEQ profiles from EqualizerAPO?

It seems EasyEffects is quite capable of importing Parametric EQ profiles from EAPO, however I see no option to import a simper Graphic Equalizer.

I have a Graphic EQ entry configured in EAPO (via PEACE) with a variable band count (not a fixed 15 or 31 band) and if I add the number of bands I want (for example 10) and then click Calculate in EasyEffects to get the Qs calculated, then adjust the frequencies and values to match those from EAPO, the resulting sound is not the same as it would be coming from EAPO.

I'm guessing this is merely my own lack of understanding, so would appreciate advice as to how to replicate a Graphic Equalizer instead of a Parametric Equalizer in EasyEffects.

The GraphicEQ button below the APO button imports its graphical equalizer presets. But have in mind that our support for APO presets is very limited. And probably it will always be considering that none of the developers involved in EasyEffects have a reason to use APO presets.

Did you set the band mode to APO? Different equalizer algorithm will have different results.

Probably. Graphic and parametric equalizer are based on different mathematical models. In the case of the parametric equalizer LSP author was kind enough to add a mathematical model that matches that one APO uses so people would have an easier time trying to use APO presets on EasyEffects as well as on the LSP suite. But in the case of the graphical equalizer it would probably be necessary to create a graphic equalizer that follows the same mathematical model. Replicating what is done in a graphical equalizer through a parametric equalizer is not always be possible.
