Multiline commands not working - probably?

There seems to be an issue with multiline commands where the next line is empty? At least it looks like it

Before running zhps && zhpl
```
: XXXX....
: 1737727540:0;ssh dev-prg-8\

: XXXX...
```
After

```
: XXX...
: 1737727540:0;ssh dev-prg-8\
: XXX...
```
