plugin sends to new users an email message with Invalid password-setup link

EXPLANATION OF THE ISSUE

Version 230530 + s2Member Pro v230530.

"Registration/Profile fields & option
Allow custom password during the registration?"
set to "No (send each user a password-setup link after the registration)

Sent link in the email takes to wp error page: Your password reset link appears to be invalid.

I would expect a page that allows to set the password

I did not expect an error page telling me "Your password reset link appears to be invalid."
