Way to remove or hide left sidebar only?

I am trying to remove or hide the left sidebar, but leave the right sidebar. For mobile screens (max 50rem if I read the source code correct), I would like to leave the nav button since it has the dark/light mode toggle and social buttons.

I've searched for the issue, and found #1108. However, I do not want a hero page since I want the right sidebar to be there.

I am editing custom css to achieve this rn, but my code is kind of messy and just not right..

Is there any config or css method that would work?
