How to export a standalone note?

When I export a note related to a Zotero item, it works fine, but I can't seem to figure out how to export a standalone note. When I try to export it I get this error:

My interpretation is that it is trying to use a template that is made for exporting notes related i Zotero items and it fails, of course, because the data from the parent item is not available. But where can I set which template should be used wen exporting a standalone note?
