+1 to this! I was looking for a way to attach LaTeX files as notes and sync the compiled PDFs with Zotero for over a year. It would be a huge improvement |

Hello! I just found out about this plugin and am really excited about all the possibilities it offers.
TLDR: I want to attach a .tex file to the parent item and have the corresponding pdf file act as a note to the parent item.
Longer explanation: When I read papers, there are occasions where I need to write lots of math as a note. In these cases, I find the math capabilities of the notes editor too restrictive (e.g. no custom latex macros and the IDE is different from where I usually type latex (vscode)). Therefore, my idea was to take notes in a full-blown .tex file and compile it into a separate pdf document which then serves as a "note". I imagine the workflow to be as follows:
It would be especially nice if these "latex-pdf-notes" benefit from the same note-features as regular notes such as link to notes, relation graphs etc.
Is it possible to establish this workflow with the better-notes plugin? If not, which features would be needed to add this functionality? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
