Joacim,
Thanks for the video. I followed it exactly how it shows but it still isn't
working. When I double click on the dmg file in the Downloads folder, the
file icon flashes like it's opening but nothing happens. The Finder window
does not appear like it does in the video. Instead, if I go to the desktop,
there is an icon for the dmg file there. Double clicking that icon on the
desktop opens the finder window with the Applications folder and the UGS
icon next to it.
I drag the UGS icon onto Applications, go into the Applications folder,
right click on UGS and select Open and I get a dialog box that is different
from the one shown in the video.
This one says "Apple could not verify “Universal Gcode Sender” is free of
malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy." and the buttons
are *Done* and *Move to Trash*. Clicking Done and trying it again produces
the same result.

I upgraded my Mac to Sequoia and experienced the same problem. You will
need to go to the "Privacy and Security" settings and allow it from there:

Total Noob to UGS and CNC so apologies in advance if this has been asked and answered. I did a few searches but didn't find anything that matched.
I downloaded UGS for Mac ARM/Apple Silicon on my MacBook Pro M3 running Sequoia 15.5. It shows up in Applications but when I click to run it, it says "Apple could not verify "Universal Gcode Sender" is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy." The only option is to cancel.
I just acquired a nifty little CNC engraver and have dreams of sugar plums and unique gifts dancing in my head.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
