Q: How would I track the source of memory leaks? #78

Description

@kjcole

I installed r23365 locally (in userspace) on an up-to-date Pop! OS 22.04 LTS system using the tarball yesterday. It runs, but when I run it from the command line and then close it a few minutes after opening, I see messages like:

info: Number of memory leaks: 5770

That seems a tad excessive... but I don't know much about what to expect. Maybe that's... normal? (I don't think so: After a crash, it started up asking if I wanted to continue in "safe mode", and if I'm in "safe mode" there are zero leaks.)

If not, is there a good way to determine which plugins -- or other elements -- are causing the leaks?

For what it's worth, I'm attaching a recent 627-line log...
