Reported from the Velodrome Team (Eyezick)

• useSendCalls: doesn't document the call returns a batch id (batch id is not a tx id and that you need to fetch tx status)
• showCallsStatus: doc says its supposed to be used to fetch batched call status, but this method is not even supported by MetaMask.
• useCallsStatus: I think this hook actually has a bug. The underlying call returns a status of the batched call (pending/success/etc) . But if its first response is "pending", it will take that as the "resolved" response, so you have to manually refetch over and over until you see a non-pending state

1. We can amend the docs.
2. The link you sent states that it "Requests for the wallet to show information about a call batch that was sent via showCalls", not sure where "fetch batched call status" comes from.
3. Not a bug – I think you are looking for useWaitForCallsStatus.

on 2- Taking a look at https://viem.sh/docs/actions/wallet/showCallsStatus / https://wagmi.sh/react/api/hooks/useShowCallsStatus it seems the doc pages themselves have a relevant typo, if you click on the show more link on each doc page, it will show the description from the eip that the call should show information "about a given call bundle that was sent with wallet_sendCalls" . But indeed the call doesn't "fetch" the info.
on 3- didn't know this method was there, just tried, worked great!
