Is it possible to hide the date on the overview/index page?

I'd like the posts to be sorted by date (got that figured out, because it's the default 😄) but not show the date on the overview. I found the show_date setting, but that seems to be only relevant for the post itself and I'd actually prefer for the date to be shown on the post itself.

I'm a bit of a minimalist :-) so I thought more about something like this:

So even hiding the section title would be nice. I tried to set the title to an empty string, which works, but the title spacer (first line) was still drawn, so currently I override two macro files in my zola templates folder and removed the meta-column completely and fixed the grid column spacing with inline styles. I also removed the header completely.

I'd completely understand if that's out of scope, but if not I think the most intuitive solution would be to

1. not render the h1 title, including the separator if the title is set to empty string
2. add an option to post_listing_date named none which disables the date
3. not render the first column (bloglist-meta) at all (like above) if there are no entries and it's empty anyway

But now that I think about it, 3 might not be simple because it might differ from entry to entry (for example with drafts) it's probably simpler to not do 2 and 3 and instead introduce a new setting show_listing_meta which defaults to true to keep the current behavior and if set to false (globally or for a specific section) the first column disappears completely.
