Extra features and SS4 support

Cheers for merging the other PR into this module. I am hoping to do some more work on this next week (if all goes OK).

The two main features I would like to add are:

1. Add ability to colour code entries (I am thinking by having the DataObject provide a field with a hex code).
2. Allow the calendar to be loaded as the default view.

Do those updates sound good with you guys? If so, I will do a PR for SS3 and then up merge the whole lot and do a separate PR for SS4.

OK, just submitted PR #6 . Point 2 (calendar as default) was a pain in the ass to get working if I am honest, but if you can have a look and see what you think.

I will try and merge all the changes up to a separate SS4 branch as well ASAP.

Just wondering when this update will be released? It'd be great to have both features.

Other great additions, would be:

• the ability to drag and drop events and have a timeline view (or similar) for resource scheduling
• the ability to filter which events are shown in the calendar (like you do with the normal GridField)

@elkebe I have always seen this module as an augmentation of GridField (rather than replacing it's functionality).

For example, for filtering events, I have created a basic DataObject for an event, then extend this for different types of event (such as holiday, meetings, etc) and then use a SearchableField for classname to filter events in the GridField itself (which then updates the calendar).

Would be good to get this merged in though, been nearly 2 years now :-o

@mlewis-everley can you have a look at the conflicts in your pull, I'm guessing what happened is the upgrade was done in a side to your pull request. So it may need a re-base hopefully that will solve it.

@mlewis-everley thanks for tips on filtering. Only problem is, while the list view will show the filtered results (eg. if filtered on a partial match of title field), the calendar view still shows all events... I think I'm missing something here?
