Short description
When developing software we have certain goals in mind. Be it a particular experience when interacting with it, a higher conversion rate of potential customers or something else entirely. Still, users always find ways to surprise and delight with novel ideas on how to use it in spite of our best efforts. So, what can we do about that?
Dark patterns, of course! But what if we don't want to be pure evil? Maybe we only want to be chaotic neutral. That's where Nudging (aka Choice Architecture, aka Behavioural Economics) comes in. We will learn what it is and how to use it to guide user behaviour.
Audience
Anyone interested in planning / designing / developing software solutions.
Also anyone interested in suddenly recognizing those techniques everywhere throughout modern life.
