Why awkward? Did you consider joining our fork? Any reasons why you didn't that we could work on/gather together under one roof? |

BTW, when I was working on our rebrand branch I specifically decided to not rename things like this:
And would prefer to leave it as:
That makes collaboration across forks easier. Is that not something you would be interested in? Merging PRs/branches from other repos becomes a royal mess if we change the code token "maybe" for our own branding. Wouldn't it be better if we can all cherry-pick off of each others' repos for as long as possible, but specially early on? |

Ah, yeah. IANAL but leaving those vestiges in the code is probably not a concern. Usually companies protect their trademarks when you go to market using similar/confusing brands, but this is just inside the codebase which the end user doesn't really see/pay attention to. Well for the story, i found maybe while randomly browsing through github, and than 1 day later they were discontinuating the app. So i made a fork right away cause i didn't see any other fork, and started adding/removing features i wanted. This is awkward cause when releasing my repo, i just found out there is this repo which is maintained. So yeah for sure i'm now putting all my changes into PR here 😄 |
