Describe the feature
Budget category totals should reflect credits, not just debits/charges. Or there should be a setting to enable the totals to be calculated in this way. Currently, the budget category totals only reflect the total charges/debits in the budget period.
Why is this feature important?
When watching your how much you spend, if you return a product to the store and receive a credit back on your card, those funds should be returned to your budget. Or you get reimbursed from an HSA/FSA account, those reimbursements that show up as credits to your bank should offset the debits to your credit card transactions.
This allows you to easily see your total spend by category.
