Color strip on 2019 Intel 16" MacBook Pro disappears when running BetterDisplay 1.3.10

Hey! I’m using a 2019 Intel 16" MacBook Pro.
My screen has had an issue for a while, showing a vertical color strip on the right side (top to bottom).

When I run BetterDisplay 1.3.10, the strip completely disappears.
I tested versions 1.3.9, 1.3.10, and 1.3.11-beta, and all of them make the color strip disappear.
However, in later versions, the strip remains visible.
Also, even in those working versions, the strip can still appear when the screen brightness is set very high.

Not sure what’s going on, but it seems like BetterDisplay might be changing something that affects the display output.
Do you have any idea what could cause this or any suggestions I could try?

Interesting. Simply running the app makes the strip disappear? Honestly I have no idea what's going on. 🫨
