| Hi there, simply upgrading to the v4.x version should not block you from using Pro features. The app only shows a warning about the outdated license (meaning a license that was purchased when v1.x or v2.x was still the current version - these licenses already got a major version license upgrade for free). However if you deactivate or reinstall the app, an outdated license cannot activate v4.x again (though you can always reinstall and activate the latest v3.x version instead). This is why you see the error message. The license is lifetime (not a subscription), but it applies to the main version available at the time of purchase. As a gesture, every user has received one major upgrade for free so far. For more details, you can check:
If you prefer not to upgrade right now, I recommend redownloading v3.x from the GitHub page and continuing to use it. If you do want to use v4.x but aren’t ready to buy a new license just yet, make sure you keep your installation activated after upgrading the app. |
