Just to make sure, I recommend resetting the app. Maybe you enabled some power management features in the app - not enabled by default - (like turning off backlight when brightness reaches to zero) which the display can't handle properly. Are you using the DDC features only? A stuck sleep mode happens on some macOS versions when virtual screens are being mirrored. |

Hello,
I am on a MAC M4 with a BENQ EX3210U 32inch MOBIUZ display connected on HDMI. Without better display i lose the functionnality to control luminosity from the mac Keyboard. BUT the monitor can be shutdown, and sleep normaly from monitor embedded settings.
As soon as i start BetterDisplay and after a sleep from the mac, even with the mac shut down, the monitor cannot be shut down from the on screen turn off button, and keep seeking for a source forever.
Seems after coming out of spleeping mode, the monitor BENQ EX3210U cannot be shutdown at all.
I have to unplug it in order to regain control over the shuting down button. I made a test for a week without better display (I cannot control luminosity from the mac keyboard) but the monitor keep a normal behaviour.
I add some screenshots of the actual DCC and other settings on the better display app
Second, point, also strangely when I set the luminosity to 0 from the keyboard, the screen shutdowns completely, so it seems while the DCC settings indicates the backlighting and DCC shutting down is not managed, the luminosity level does that without being able to turn on from keyboard. I need to turn on the screen again from the front screen button to turn it on again.
