I need version 4 (I'm on Tahoe)

If I install your current version (3.5.6), it takes over my machine, sets the display to black, and absolutely NOTHING WORKS after that!

Why would this happen anyway?

Obviously, I can't update it without installing it and if I install it, it destroy my machines access, and I have to boot via safe mode (which on mac silicon is not fun).

So, how can I get verions 4?

Hmm. I am not sure why this would happen with v3.5.6 on Tahoe - things should work mostly just fine.

Anyway, you can get the latest versions from the Releases page: https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/releases

But if v3.5.6 does this, v4.x might do it as well. Is this a fresh install?
