Hey everyone, I use a Mac for work connected to a dock and two monitors (HDMI and DPI). I want to try using BetterDisplay to force a HiDPI resolution, but the app says the trial has expired? I'm wondering if a colleague or my Tech team have used it on this Mac before? Is there any way to reset the trial or enter a temporary license key so I can see if it will work (even if it's just 24hrs)? If it does I will shout it from the rooftops and they can have as much of my $ as they want haha |

Hi there - unfortunately the trial cannot be reactivated (it is managed by Paddle, the payment/licensing provider third party). :( If the dock is a DisplayLink one, the app won't be able to directly enable HiDPI or add extra resolutions (there are workarounds but they are not ideal). You can check if these options are available for the display. Custom resolutions are a free feature, so you can try using that - it should enable HiDPI as well if the resolution is suitable. If the entire block is missing, and on top the display type is indicated as a virtual display, then it's a DisplayLink dock and this method won't work.
