You mean the color profile of the display is changed from its factory profile to something else? Does it show a different color profile as selected under the Color Profile menu or System Settings/Displays? |

I mean the color profile that is output from the mac is changed. It shows the correct selected color profile in the menu and system settings/displays, but it's not actually that one selected (i can visually tell the color profile is incorrect). If i toggle to a different color profile, then back to the one i want, it fixes it. or if i retoggle any other setting in the betterdisplay menu, it'll come back to the correctly selected profile. this only happens with betterdisplay installed, but is fixed when "Enable color table adjustments" is disabled in the external monitor settings within the BetterDisplay app settings. thank you for your app |

Assuming you are running the latest v3.5.6 app version, I don't have a clear answer for why this happens. Did this start happening recently, after an update or some configuration change? This might be some kind of incompatibility issue - potentially with other apps also affecting the color table - or you might be using a custom color profile (some third party apps create profiles that end up being incompatible with apps managing the color table). If there is no clear reason why this happens (no conflicting app, no custom profile), you can try resetting display settings to see if this helps: |

This is a clean, new macbook install. I don't have any other apps affecting the color table. I'm using the a default "Display P3" color profile. The problem is fixed when I disable "Enable color table adjustments" so Ill leave it at that. Thanks for the help. |

All right, thanks for the info. I'll move this to discussions and leave it open to see if anybody else has this issue and if there is any way to reproduce it. |

Color profile bug when resuming from sleep on the mac, using an external monitor. The bug can be fixed when changing ANY setting in the BetterDisplay menu (such as enable and disable HiDPI, or change the refresh rate).
The bug is fixed when "Enable color table adjustments" is disabled in the external monitor settings within the BetterDisplay app settings.
